This week saw Future Story co-founders Angele Giuliano and Kais Badran participate in the European Innovation Council (EIC) Summit 2024 held in Brussels. The EIC is Europe’s flagship innovation programme to identify, develop and scale up breakthrough technologies and game changing innovations. In the years since its foundation in 2021, the EIC has been at the forefront of supporting some of Europe’s most innovative technology start-ups. That same year the EIC appointed Angele Giuliano as one of its ambassadors. In its annual summit the EIC brings together market actors, stakeholders and innovators for a series of networking events and innovative project displays.
Angele and Kais made the most of this opportunity, networking with investors and talking to innovative startups that are pushing the EU’s technological frontier, while also building bridges with the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA). This Agency is responsible for developing and implementing the European Innovation Council and manages other EU programmes in the fields of SME support, innovation ecosystems, single market, consumer policy and interregional innovation investments. The Future Story co-founders were introduced to a multitude of innovative solutions in the medical field, as well as in the greentech, AI and mobility sectors. They also took the opportunity to attend the ceremony for the European Prize for Women Innovators, and to continue to grow Future Story’s existing ecosystem within Europe.
